It is actually a very simple question with a simple answer. But it has some people tied in knots figuring out what to say.
My wife, for example, is (born and) bred as an editor, due to work experience. As a result she can't let that editor's hat fall off her head. She's been wanting to start a blog to figure what it is all about, but has a lot of trouble putting down three or four lines without re-writing a sentence about 20 times over and around.
Well .. here's my answer to you, my darling. All it takes to blog .. is to throw your thoughts out there, don't necessarily need to edit it. No one really worries too much about grammar, choice of vocab, standard or slang English ... As long as the text is coherent (or even some blabbering like mine tend to be) ... Its a blog.
